Kristen L. Savola, MD, M.Ed, FAAD

Dr. Kristen Savola is a board-certified dermatologist who has been serving medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology patients since 2005. She specializes in cosmetic dermatology and is the only board-certified dermatologist in the Valley who performs cosmetic procedures. Dr. Savola has been educated at several of the most prestigious universities thereby bringing significant expertise to our community.

She is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Vermont, received a Master’s degree in educational psychology from Harvard University, and attended medical school at Columbia University where she graduated with the highest honor of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA). Prior to dermatology, Dr. Savola completed an internal medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco, and fellowship training in infectious diseases from Stanford University and has been board-certified in both of these specialties. She went on to receive her dermatology training at the Medical College of Virginia where she served as chief resident.


Amy Randolph, PA-C

Amy is a physician assistant certified by the NCCPA and licensed by the state of Virginia.  She has been in the spa industry for over 6 years, beginning her skin-care career as a massage therapist in Duck, NC & Virginia Beach, VA.   She recently expanded on her passion for patient-care by obtaining a Master’s of Physician Assistant from Eastern Virginia Medical School.  She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants (VAPA), and the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). 

Prior to her career in skin-care, Amy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.  Upon graduating, she worked for UnitedHealthcare for 12 years while raising her 4 children. In her spare time, Amy enjoys running, biking and swimming and participates in numerous triathlons and marathons annually.


Yara White, PA-C

Yara worked as an exercise physiologist for 6 years prior to graduating from the Master of Science of Physician Assistant Studies program in 2007 from James Madison University. Yara is NCCRA certified and licensed by the state of Virginia and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). Yara focused on dermatology and internal medicine during her first year of practice remained in internal medicine in Ashville, NC until 2016.  Her desire to return to her passion of dermatology and to be closer to family with her husband and two children, brought her back to Virginia in July 2016 when she joined Savola Aesthetic Dermatology.

Yara enjoys both the medical and cosmetic side of dermatology, in addition to helping patients achieve their skin care goals. In her downtime, she enjoys running, hiking with her family and reading.


Kristy Bradley, Aesthetician

Kristy has over 10 years of aesthetic experience and completed her aesthetic training in 2006 at the Paul Mitchell Academy in North Carolina. She has developed expertise in performing laser hair removal, skin tightening, laser resurfacing, IPL and vascular treatments. She also has extensive knowledge in chemical peels and microdermabrasion. Kristy has a great deal of experience in evaluating skin types and determining the best results for each individual. In addition, she also offers customized facials, makeup applications, dermaplaning, waxing, and lash/brow tinting.

Kristy loves spending time with her family and friends, including her husband and daughter. She also enjoys playing sports and spending time outdoors.
